Donation for the new bouldering facility on the Waldhaus main site

Sport and experiential education have been important cornerstones of Waldhaus Jugendhilfe's work since it was founded. After several renovation measures on the main grounds in Hildrizhausen in recent years, a new bouldering facility is now being built on the former beach volleyball court. "In our work with young people, it perfectly complements our climbing activities," says Waldhaus Managing Director Hans Artschwager, explaining the acquisition of the new bouldering block. The Waldhaus acquired it from the Tübingen section of the German Alpine Club. This was made possible by Michael Groh, head of the municipal youth social work department, who is a mountain sports officer and board member of the section. The new facility is financially supported by DMT Produktentwicklung GmbH from Nufringen. With a donation totaling 4,000 euros, the three managing partners Jürgen Haeberle, Martin Hagg and Steffen Bauer would like to help provide the children and young people in the Waldhaus with a new climbing experience. "Social commitment is a top priority in our company," explains Jürgen Haeberle, who comes from Hildrizhausen and through whom direct contact with the youth welfare facility was established. "The proposal to support the Waldhaus was immediately met with great approval." Last Wednesday, the DMTpe representatives were given an insight into the work at the main site during the official handover of the cheque and were able to inspect the co-financed building at the same time. "We would like to thank DMT Produktentwicklung GmbH for this great commitment," says Waldhaus Managing Director Hans Artschwager, "thanks to their support, we can offer a completely new sporting element on our main site."
