Your Responsibilities
- You will take on the leadership, management, and technical responsibility for challenging and complex development projects—from the initial concept through to series production.
- You will plan and coordinate interdisciplinary project teams and serve as the central point of contact for external project partners.
- You will conduct customer workshops to analyze needs and to define, structure, and align product requirements.
- You are responsible for project planning, budgeting, and project controlling with regard to time, costs, resources, and quality.
- You will prepare and facilitate FMEA analyses, risk assessments, and technical evaluations, taking into account legal requirements, regulatory standards, and customer-specific requirements.
- You prepare regular internal reviews, document project results, and present project status updates and milestone results both internally and to the client.
Your Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a degree in engineering (mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or similar).
- You have several years of experience in the development of technically sophisticated products, ideally in the fields of medical technology, life science, analytic measurement technology, or device development.
- You are proficient in project management methods and can manage complex development projects in a structured, goal-oriented, and cost-effective manner.
- You are characterized by a systematic and holistic approach to thinking and working, and you possess excellent planning and organizational skills as well as a very high degree of personal responsibility.
- Ideally, you have firsthand practical experience with the product development process and quality management for medical devices.
- You have strong communication skills and interact with customers, project teams, and partners in a confident and engaging manner.
- As a strong team player and hands-on professional, you roll up your sleeves and get to work.
